Confirmed Purchase Scam leads among crimes in the digital market

OLX and AllowMe mapped the main types of fraud and data on scams in Brazil in 2022, according to the study, the “Confirmed Purchase” scam leads the list with 57% of cases — with an increase of 75% compared to the year previous. Next are: “False Advertisement” (37%) and “Data Theft” (6%), which recorded one attempted data theft per minute in 2022.
